Prince Albert church to hold cantata on Palm Sunday evening

St. George's Anglican church choir, under the direction of Mr. Doug Salen, will present their cantata "An Easter Journey" on Palm Sunday evening, at 7:30 pm at St. George's church on 1102, 4th St. East. The cantata features stirring musical pieces, some traditional and some new, as well as readings from scripture. The program will take the audience through the events of Palm Sunday through the day of resurrection.

The evening will feature some of the best loved selections from last year's cantata with the addition of some new and beautiful selections including a 14th Century Easter Alleluia and a gorgeous modern piece entitled "Come to the Garden". Doug Salen is gifted at making his vocal ensembles produce a full and big sound. All are welcome. There is no admission. A free will offering will be taken.
