Saskatchewan Youth Delegate elected to Church's executive body

Dean Sewap, 23, the Diocese of Saskatchewan's Youth Delegate to the General Synod, was elected this afternoon to the executive committee of our Church, the Council of General Synod.  Mr. Sewap, who lives in Pelican Narrows, SK, will be one of four young people who will sit on that body for the next three years.  His the son of the Rev. Canon and Mrs. Angus Sewap.

Mr. Sewap also addressed the resolution on local-option for same-sex blessings this evening.  His remarks can be found here.

Bishop Burton was also elected to serve on the Council.
