The Lutheran, Roman Catholic and Anglican bishops of Saskatchewan met yesterday at Queen's House, Saskatoon.  They have been meeting together twice a year for 30 years.  At this meeting, they welcomed the new Ukrainian Catholic Eparch-elect of Saskatoon, the Most Rev. Brian Bayda, said farewll to Bishop Burton, a member of the group for 15 years, and tentative farewells to the Most Rev. Blaise Morand, Roman Catholic Bishop of Prince Albert, who has belonged to the meeting for 26 years, and to a relatively recent member, the Most Rev. Michael Wiwchar, the outgoing Eparch.  At the meeting the bishops discussed a wide range of common concerns, with a particular focus on reconciliation with aboriginal people and developments in the Canadian and international Anglican-Roman Catholic Dialogue.
