Prison Ministry in the Diocese of Saskatchewan

 

 Saturday, November 21^st from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Lunch Provided)

at the Synod Office

(1308 - 5th St E, Prince Albert)

If you would be interested in helping with ministry in our prisons you are invited to attend a meeting at the Synod Office.

The Diocese has been contracted with Correctional Services Canada to provide Chaplaincy Services at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary and the Reverend Joanne Beacon has been appointed to this ministry.  Over the past year we have provided worship and communion at the Penitentiary and the Prince Albert Correctional Centre and a successful Alpha Programme was held at the Riverbend Institution.

This may be just the kind of particular Mission work that God is calling us to undertake as a Diocese.
