New bishop for the Diocese of Niagara

Archdeacon Michael Bird was elected Bishop Coadjutor of the Diocese of Niagara today.  He will succeed Bishop Ralph Spence.  We wish him, Mrs. Bird, and their family God's blessing, comfort and guidance as they take up this onerous ministry.  A profile of Bishop-elect Bird may be found here.
