St. David's, Prince Albert

The Bishop of Saskatchewan and the Congregation of Saint David’s Church, Prince Albert, are seeking a priest to serve full time with them.

Our hope is to grow in our Christian understanding and living as a community of believers, grounded in the teaching and example of Jesus Christ. Over the next five years we want to move the parish further from survival to growth and to encourage our members in generous giving and living.

We have identified three particular needs; the re-establishment of small group studies, the training of lay pastoral visitors, and ministry to and with those in the 12- 20 year age bracket.

We are seeking a vibrant, Bible oriented, committed Christian of personal faith who feels called to be a pastor to this congregation and to serve with us. They should be a teacher and leader who can promote a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and interpret Biblical truths for today’s society. The successful applicant should also be interested in and be able to assist in practical outreach and enjoy visiting parish members, lapsed members as well as people in the area who do not count themselves as Parish members.

Parish profiles are available from the Synod Office ([email protected]). Applications will be received for this position until October 15th, 2018.    Clergy from outside the Diocese of Saskatchewan should consult their own bishop before applying.  Letters of application and resumes should be sent to:
